Rachael Mclean Illustration

HELLO!

I'm Rachael McLean, a freelance children's illustrator living in a lovely coastal town on the east coast of Australia. My designs can be found worldwide on pretty products, wall art, greeting cards, editorials and websites. My work has been featured on popular design blogs such as Print and Pattern, Inside Out and Apartment Therapy, and in printed publications such as Uppercase Magazine.

My drawings spring to life from my trusty Wacom tablet, using a combination of Illustrator and Photoshop. Inspired by bright colours and all things whimsical, my characters and designs are fresh, modern and fun. I draw with clean shapes and bold colours, infused with subtle textures, to create playful designs. If you need illustrations to make people smile, let's collaborate, my style will be perfect for your product or publication.

I am represented by The Bright Agency. If you'd like to discuss a project, or if you are interested in licensing my designs for your products, contact me for a chat.

The prints are just lovely! Also, Rachael is very friendly and it was not a problem at all for her to create me a custom size. Would highly recommend her if you want cute prints for your children’s room.
